Doleac Receives Named 2008 Patrick Jackson
Award
Denise Doleac, founder and executive director of The Children’s
Museum of New Hampshire, was awarded the Yankee Chapter
PRSA's 2008 Patrick Jackson award in recognition of her
work at the Childrens Museum and her excellence in the practice
of public relations and demonstrated record of building
relationships which earn trust. The presentation was made
at the chapter's annuual meeting on June 12 in Concord.

Yankee chapter president, Stacy Smith, APR, and
Jack Briggs.

Doleac has been praised for her ability
to bring people together and her commitment to better
serve those who were unlikely or unable to visit the museum
due to financial or cultural reasons by taking museum
programs into communities. She has served on a number
of boards, including the Portsmouth Public Library board
of trustees, the FUTURES Scholarship Program board and
the Portsmouth Arts and Historical Collaborative.
